Going to a Christmas pot luck this year and don’t know what to bring? Hosting a New Year’s dinner and need to work on the menu? Having the gang over to watch the big game and need some yummy bites to keep them fed? Well, there’s an app for that! Actually, there’s four appetizers that will be taught in the upcoming Now You’re Cooking Workshop on Sunday, December 7th.
Swedish Meatballs
Give IKEA a run for its money with this scrumptious meatballs simmered in a savory gravy.
Bacon-Wrapped & Stuffed Dates
A unique blend of salty and sweet, crunchy and soft, these little morsels only require three ingredients. Bet you can’t eat just one!
Spinach-Artichoke Cups
Using wonton wrappers as the “cups”, this creamy spinach-artichoke cheese dip is sure to be a hit.
Hummus
This healthy, chickpea-based dip is simple to make and is perfect served with wedges of flatbread or sticks of vegetables.
All participants will go home with a sampling of all the appetizers they help create. Monique will also provide a take-home recipe sheet with the four recipes taught.
