Black Cake Cookies

I started baking these Black Cake Cookies a few years ago, and people loved them so much that I made sure to do some large batch baking for the holiday season.

These cookies will be at the top of your Christmas list after you’ve tried them. It’s almost like if Black Cake and and a Ginger Bread Man had a baby! Moist and flavourful with all the warming spices you’ll find in the Caribbean black cakes you may have tasted before.

These cookies are made to order. If you need them in time for Christmas day or over the New Year’s week, be sure to place your order online.

Rum Balls

But that’s not all… there’s more! I’ll also be selling some mouth-watering Rum Balls in 5-pack, 10-pack, and 20-pack quantities.

These chocolaty rum balls are filled with biscuits, almonds and rolled in cocoa powder and/or flaked coconut. Sweet and boozy, these grownup-treats will be a hit at your next gathering.

Alcohol-Free Black Cake

Did you want something without the alcohol? Try my Alcohol-Free Black Cake. Perfect for kids, non-drinkers, or if you’re staying away from alcohol for religious or medical reasons. Moist and dense, this alcohol-free black cake has all the flavours as the real thing… except for the booze of course.

Dark and rich, black cake is a made from an array of dried fruit, such as raisins and currants, as well as a glace fruit mix that contains cherries, orange peel and lemon peel. Traditionally, these fruits are soaked in a combination of rum and wine before baking, but for a booze-free cake, cranberry-grape juice is substituted, so it’s guilt-free!

Of course, you can always try baking it yourself, but who has time for that? 🙂
